Admission policy

Grand Columbus International School follows a transparent and structured admission process. Admissions are granted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seat availability in each class. As the number of seats is limited, the Admissions Team reserves the right to decline applications once a class has reached its intake capacity.

Age & Class Eligibility

Select Date of Birth and an Academic Year. Age is calculated as on 1 April.

Eligibility Criteria

Primary Section

Please note that the minimum age for the admission application on 1st April 2026 is as follows

Play Group: 2 years +
Pre-Nursery: 3 years +
Nursery: 4 years +
Kindergarten: 5 years +
Grade 1: 6 years +

Middle & Senior School

  • Applicants must submit a School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate from theprevious school.
  • All mandatory academic records and supporting documents required to establisheligibility for the applied class must be provided.

Admissions in Classes X & XII

GCIS does not offer direct admissions to Classes X and XII, except in genuine transfer cases. Parents seeking admission to either of these classes are requested to contact the Admissions Counsellor prior to submitting the Registration Form.

Kalam Scholarship Applicants

Students applying under the Kalam Scholarship are required to complete the Registration Form. Please note that the examination fee is not covered under the Kalam Scholarship and is applicable only for new admissions.
